Demo Talk-Track

what to say, where to pause, what to plant — keyed to the 2:33 flagship demo · plain-text master: talk-track.md · 2026-07-07

Two modes, one story. Mode A — you narrate over the silent flagship cut (video/final/flagship-demo-silent.mp4, 2:33) in a meeting. Mode B — you drive the interactive demo live (demo-app/ or tours/flagship.html) and control the pace. Beat timings below match the flagship video's actual marks.

The one setup sentence before anything plays:

"Ninety seconds of forming a real venture, then the same venture five months in — everything you'll see is one product. The venture is a demo — Tarka Labs — the screens are real."

(That last clause kills the "is this real?" question before it forms.)

Act 1 — Formation (0:00–1:03)

tOn screenSayNotes
0:01Wizard 1 — name typed live, address confirmed"Three founders forming a venture. They type a name — and that's already the venture's permanent public address: tarka-labs, on the open registry."Let the typing play; don't talk over the address reveal.
0:092 — details"What it does, where it operates. That's all a registry actually needs."Speed through.
0:143 — partners"Partners join with a name and an email — identity verification is automatic. This is the KYC moment — remember it, because later we do the same for AI agents."Plants the KYA punchline.
0:234 — ownership split + donut"Ownership agreed now, at the handshake — not reconstructed two years later in a lawyer's office. Signing rights per founder."PAUSE a beat on the donut.
0:325 — terms / arbitration"Dispute resolution chosen before any dispute exists — neutral arbitration, in the founding terms. This is the recourse layer everyone assumes ventures have. Almost none do."
0:386 — constitution"The constitution drafts itself — a real certificate of formation with their names and shares."
0:467 — review"One review…"Quiet — let register click land.
0:54–1:02Register → successSay nothing until the success card, then: "That's a venture. Public, tamper-proof, formed in minutes. No state filing — that's optional, later, if they ever need it."PAUSE #1. This is where investors ask "wait, what is it legally?" — answer with FAQ #6.

Act 2 — Operating (1:03–2:33)

tOn screenSayNotes
1:03Overview, KPIs count up"Same venture, five months later. This is the part no competitor has — the venture runs here. $1.3M in treasury, seven members, nineteen months of runway."
1:15Finance — 3 treasuries, ledger"Three treasuries — operating, reserve, grants — each with its own signing policy. Every transaction in one auditable ledger. Not a bank bolt-on: the treasury is part of the record."
1:32Members, ownership bar"Seven members, all verified, ownership in the public registry — not a spreadsheet. And a member doesn't have to be human. An agent can hold a registered role here, anchored to the accountable people behind it — that's Know Your Agent."The thesis lands mid-demo, product-first.
1:43Governance"Decisions run through governance — live proposals, weighted votes, quorum, under rules the founders chose in the wizard."
1:55Fundraising — money shot (~17s hold)"And fundraising is built in. A live seed round: $487K of $750K committed, eight investors, standard SAFEs settling straight to the treasury. Signed, wired, committed — the round reconciles itself."PAUSE #2 — the longest hold in the cut. Let the investor table breathe. This screen is aimed at the person you're pitching.
2:12Compliance 7/7"Compliance stays current — good standing, every identity verified, attestation filed. This page is what a counterparty — or a regulator — checks."
2:25End card"Form today. Operate immediately. Incorporate when you're ready."Stop talking. Close laptop-lid energy.

The three planted questions (steer Q&A onto home turf)

  1. During 0:14 (partners): the KYC line makes them ask "so how does that work for an AI agent?" → answer: the standing check — identity, owner chain, compliance model, treasury mandate — checkable by any counterparty before value moves; then the ClawBank contrast (reported May 2026 agent-LLC with no disclosure layer).
  2. During 1:55 (fundraising): "who are the investors / is this real money?" → honest: demo data, real product surface; then pivot to model — [FILL: how Entity.ID monetizes rounds/treasury].
  3. At the end card: "what does 'incorporate when ready' actually mean?" → the record maps onto a traditional filing; incorporation becomes a feature, not the front door (V6 line) — and that's the wedge no incumbent can copy without cannibalizing itself.

Live-demo route (Mode B, ~4 min, demo-app/)

wizard.html (do steps 1→4 live, type the name yourself — the typing is the magic) → skip to 7, register → index.html overview → finance.html (open one treasury's policy) → fundraising.html (stop here, longest) → compliance.html. Skip governance live unless asked — it's the first thing to cut for time.
